The official translation must show the name and address of the translator or translation company.

The translation should be performed word for word from the original text and its format should be very similar to the original text

On the completed translation there should be a statement signed by a translator that performed the translation testifying that the translation appears to be an accurate and complete translation of the original document. In different cases, such statement can be titled “Certification by translator” or “Certificate of accuracy”.

Countries other than the United States of America may have other requirements for the certified translation of Russian documents, so we highly recommend you to consult the authorities of the country that requires a certified Russian translation of your document.

In the United States, there is no Federal or State certification program for translators. Therefore credentials of highly professional education and work experience may replace a certification from the American Translators Association.
